Strategy Health Diagnostics

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about strategy diagnostics, privacy, source code, data requirements, and what StratVitals does not do.

Product Scope

What is StratVitals?

StratVitals is a strategy health diagnostics service for traders and strategy owners. It reviews the behavior your strategy leaves behind, such as backtest summaries, equity curves, trade records, and risk patterns, then turns that evidence into a structured health report.

Is StratVitals a trading signal service?

No. StratVitals does not provide trade entries, trade exits, copy trading, account management, or signal subscriptions. The service is designed to diagnose strategy health, risk pressure, data quality, and live-readiness concerns.

Every strategy is different. How can StratVitals diagnose mine?

The first layer focuses on observable behavior that most strategies leave behind: performance distribution, drawdown pressure, fee sensitivity, trade count, data completeness, and consistency between reported results and available evidence. Deeper layers can use strategy-type context and anonymized logs when available.

How is this different from a normal backtest report?

A normal backtest report usually shows outcomes. StratVitals reads those outcomes as diagnostic evidence. Profit, drawdown, fees, trade count, and missing context are reviewed together to identify whether the strategy looks stable, fragile, incomplete, or in need of deeper review.

Privacy and Source Code

Do I need to share my source code?

No source code is required for the Standard Strategy Health Quick Check. You can start with screenshots, reports, exports, trade-level CSV files, or basic numbers. For deeper diagnosis, anonymized Signal Logs may be enough in many cases.

Can StratVitals tell me whether my strategy is broken?

StratVitals can identify risk flags, data gaps, fragile behavior, suspicious consistency issues, and whether the available evidence supports more confidence or requires deeper review. It does not make absolute claims from incomplete evidence.

Data Requirements

What data do I need to send?

For the free quick check, you can send a backtest screenshot, equity curve, backtest report, trade-level CSV, platform export, or basic numbers such as strategy type, market, timeframe, test period, total trades, max drawdown, total profit, and fee setting.

What happens after I request a free quick check?

You send the materials you are comfortable sharing, along with your preferred report language. StratVitals reviews whether the evidence is enough for a first-layer quick report, then returns a structured screening with risk flags, diagnostic confidence, preliminary diagnosis, and recommended next steps.

Reports and Service Layers

What does the free quick check include?

The free quick check includes a strategy profile summary, Data Completeness Check, Strategy Health Quick Score, Risk Flags, Diagnostic Confidence, Preliminary Diagnosis, Recommended Next Steps, and privacy and disclaimer notes.

What is not included in the free quick check?

The free quick check does not include source code review, parameter optimization, trade signals, profit guarantees, full MAE / MFE path diagnosis, rule-level root cause diagnosis, account management, or copy trading.

What is the difference between the three service layers?

Standard Strategy Health Quick Check is a low-friction first-layer screening. Focused Strategy Health Diagnosis is a deeper strategy-type-aware review when more evidence is available. One-on-One Deep Strategy Diagnosis is a private, high-touch review for complex strategy behavior, live drift, version history, or sensitive review needs.

Can I request a report in Chinese?

Yes. Chinese reports use Chinese narrative with English metric labels by default. This keeps metric names consistent across Strategy Health Quick Score, Data Completeness Check, Risk Flags, Diagnostic Confidence, and related report sections.

Risk Boundaries

Can StratVitals guarantee profit?

No. StratVitals does not guarantee profit. Profit is an outcome, not a diagnosis. Any strategy can fail under changing market conditions, execution costs, data issues, or risk settings.

Is this investment advice?

No. StratVitals is not investment advice, financial advice, trading advice, a broker, an account manager, or a signal provider. Users remain responsible for their own research, trading decisions, risk controls, and capital allocation.

Ready to start with a low-friction first-layer review?

Start with observable behavior, not source code. A quick check can help decide whether deeper diagnosis is justified before you risk real money.
